    Hey,

I,m thinking of getting sky HD+ but I don;t have a phone line to get a second box in from sky. I was thinking of getting a freesat box for the bedroom so I would have a free channels upstairs.

Does anyone know if I would be able to run a cable from the same dish being used for the Sky HD+ box or would the dish need some kind of splitter on it, do the dish's have these splitters as standard?

    Thanks

i would imagine they would install it with a quad output lnb on the dish so if your getting hd+ installed that would leave two outputs for other cables.

Ive got sky + in lately and it is a quad lnb they installed. If it is so in your case you'll have 2 free outlets to do with what you wish ...
