someone would see your name and be able to get your profile details; that's a given. if they have a little basic knowledge, they can get your IP address, and from that get a billing address for whoever owns the computer you're working from. a home phone isn't far away. however, few people would go through that, unless they're a hacker you piss off or something. you really don't have much to worry about. the best protection you have is to talk to people you've previously met online or in real life, and don't go accepting random calls. but like i said, you don't really have much to worry about.
ohh ok,lol ,just wanted to make sure, lol iwas prankcalling my friends friend and hes like hes gunna call rogers lol,so i got scared
Well, you should worry, if he calls your ISP, they will give you a slap on the wrist, just like a phone company would.
it's in your best interest to not prank call, though being your friend, the guy should have been okay with it for the most part. just don't piss off the wrong people, and you're gold.
I'm not sure about fines or other punishment as it varies per ISP/Phone company, but there will be consequences for such pranks if your friend really calls them. If i where you, i'd apologise like mad and make sure i never did something like that again.
lol ya,i stoped calling after my friend told me,but ya i quit prankcalling pll,not fun as it used to when pll didnt have caller id ,lol
