skysports 1 scrambled/ starview

every other channel working except skysports 1 can u help

 

yeah i am same sky sports 1 and 3 not working anyone any ideas?

 

Not sure if you both got it fixed but you can try this

1 Menu
2 Factory settings
3 type in code ( 0000)
4 press ok. this will delete channels.
5 Installation
6 Change provider (Eg N*L etc)to which ever one used in your area.
7 autoscan ( when it says *** channels found , exit back out all the way until u are back at the scrambled/no signal 'tv' screen)
8 Hit menu again
9 go into parental control
10 press info on remote and type in 2004
11 new screen appears , change EMU to ON
Then exit back out all the way until u are back at the scrambled/no signal 'tv' screen and hey presto your sorted !

 

done all that. all channels come up except sky sports 1 and 3!!
very frustarting considering the ffoty season has just kicked off...
any help would be very appreciated x

 

Can you tell me how many channels you found

 

try : 315.000 sk* sports 1 freq

 

I TRIED THE MANUAL SCAN SETTINGS AS THIS:

FREQ = 315.000
SYMBOL = 6952ksps
CONSTELATION = 64QAM
Network Scan = disable

RESULT = "0 programs found"

I had Sk sports 1 and 3 on Friday night. Saturday Morning they had disappeared.
Then Sunday morning after another fresh install and scan they came back so watched the Chelsea game, then as soon as they went to old trafford for United game the signal started breaking badly, it was unwatchable, so did another install and re-scan and the channels had disappeared again. All very frustrating...

My mate has a eurovox and had no problem?!

I have heard they are changing the frequencies?

I SCAN FOR CHANNELS ON EXC&W AND LIVE IN MANCHESTER.
ON AUTOMATIC SCAN I HAVE FOUND 235 CHANNELS.

ANY HELP ON THIS WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED GUYS, I BOUGHT THE BOX FOR THE FOOTY AND HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS UNTIL THE FOOTY SEASON STARTED????! AAArrgh!!

THIS IS REALLY DOING MY NUT IN NOW!!!

I have tried doing a fresh install. No Joy!

I am on EXC&W in Manchester.

I have put in the codes for NTL, EXC&W AND TELEWEST as fergus post:

- 0 programs found!

So i still only have Sk sports 2 and XTRA. But no 1 and 3!!!!

Has anyone out there got any other ideas??

Do u split your cable input feed???
if so do a scan from the main in as had that prob other day with 2nd box in house found out it was the spliter in diff room that was problem

IS ANYBODY ELSE IN MANCHESTER HAVING THIS TROUBLE?
I AUTOMATICALLY SCAN ON EXC&W AND YES I HAVE DONE A FRESH INSTALL, AND HAVE DONE MANUAL SCANS ON BOTH 491.00 and 315.000.

Sk sport 1 and 3 have completely dissappeared!!!!

I have tried all the codes and frequencies, i have done numerous clean installs, i have taken my broadband connection out of the loop, rescan after rescan after bloody rescan to find that Sk sports 1 (the only channel i actually want!!!!!) cannot be found anywhere?????????!!!!!!!!!!

My father is having the same trouble! He is in Manchester too.

This is obviously a bigger problem than just changing a code/frequency.....

I do hope someone knows how i can get it back and its not a sign of things to come for the Starview. I am surprised however that there are not more people having the trouble??!

My mate has a eurovox is in manchester and has no problems - I think the starview is brilliant but since the footy season started and i lost my favourite channel i am seriously considering getting a eurovox.

PLEASE IF YOU HAVE ANY INFO LET ME KNOW - AS YOU CAN IMAGINE THIS IS DRIVING ME CRAZY NOW!!!!!!!!!!

will tell u way i did it see if it helps

i done factory reset

then re flashed

then i connected my spare box to the main cable box direct the the main box on wall and scanned dont a auto scan

got all channels back
but i am in glasgow so not sure if that is the difference

 

Hi iam in manchester ,s sports 1 was scrambled every other channel
working , selected s sports1 on the tv pressed menu , then too edit menu deleted s sports 1 ,back to main menu and did a manual scan
it worked for me

 

I've got the same problem as Tomo8378! I thought it was working fine, but it ain't! I've done everything described above, but I don't know how to do a manual instal. I agree with you Tomo8378 - we are not alone with this problem!

 

Sounds like a CC problem in your area. Usually comes back after a while.

Try as sankeys said delete both channels first and then do another scan.

 

Well I've deleted both Sk* 1 and 3 channels, along with Nat*onal Geograph*c as they appear to be on the same frequency. Then I went to Menu, and simply changed the Down Frquency to 315.000MHz and changed Network Scan to Enable. Unfortunately after pressing Ok to channel search, it found nothing. I then changed the Down Frequency to 419.000MHz but had the same problem with this. Is this the right way to do a manual search?
