ok first ive tried to medias of disks one is a blue one and one is gold both cdrw and i got some maxell dvd-rs the other day but i forgot my comp cant burn dvd rs so what do i do now none of them load in my box:-(
If he can't burn DVD's then DVD+R will not help much. Plus most Xboxes i know read DVD-R better anyway. I know very few people who have copied Slayer to a CD with success, and there are some Xboxes that will not even read CD's at all. I think you are stuck unless you find another auto installer that is meant to be on CD, and hope that your Xbox is one of the few that will actually play them. If not you will have to put the files on a CD, tale them to a friend who has a DVD Burner, and have him burn them on a DVD.
if you are talking about burning Slayer to a DVD then yes a laptop should work just fine. as long as it has a DVD burner and not just a combo drive. Most people think that means that they have a DVD burner but in most cases it is just a CD burner and a DVD player.
you would FTP the Slayer to your apps folder and run it from there If you do not know how to FTP then i would find a good tutorial as there is a lot of reading you need to do.
