    is it possible to make slide shows of pictures to play in dvd players?

    you probably have to encode them into mpeg2 video, using a video editing program, then author and burn onto DVD. Since there would be very little movement, you can probably squeeze a ton of pix. Good luck.

    WinOnCD creates VideoCD-compliant slideshow discs easily -- pictures just have to be in either PAL or NTSC resolution, that's it (704x480 or 704x576) -- you can fit hundreds of images to one CD.
