I have DSL and lately it seems that it takes longer for web pages to load and sometimes it seems as if my web browser has frozen and takes forever to load and it is getting verry annoying and im wondering if any one has a solution to this problem.
sounds like sypware or a virse .whats you virse scan program? i would use Trend Mirco or AVG .NOD32 is good also good spyware programs are ad/aware ,spysweeper ,highjack this and ccleaner try some of this to cleanup your system and get back with us

Also check whats running by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del, if theres any funny programs than you most lickly have spyware or adware and also check what starts up when you boot your computer by Going to START,RUN,and search msconfig,And clicking the Tab "StartUp"(it works for win98se ond win 98 dont know about xp)

for some reason when i started my computer up it was running smoothly,i dont know what happened but thanx for the help.
I think the only way your pc will go faster is if you use tune up utilities 2004,trust me on this do all the test and your cpu will run smooth
