Slow reading data DVD

    Sup i need help,i just burned a 4.5 gig of anime avi files onto a single DVD-R but when i go to watch it the frist eps takes a long time to start and the last eps dont start at all. Im using nero6316 startsmart program to burn it.


    can anyone help

    In your title you say, slow reading Data -

    My thoughts:

    Defrag all drives.

    Go through msconfig and uncheck that which isn’t necessary.

    Clean Registry.

    Do not multi-task while playing - you may be stealing too much of the available resources

    Hi sorry im not good with englise.
    but im saying that when i go to watch the anime on the DVD-R i just burned the first eps loads and plays but the rest dont.
    Im using PRINCO DVD-R 1x4

    That could be the problem, especially since the last files wont play. Try better media like Ritek or Verbatim.

    Even with (relatively) poor media you can still get excellent results -- at a cost. As the quality of your media drops, in order to preserve final quality, you have to drop your burning speed -- all the way down to 1x if need be. If it's still crappy at 1x then either (a) the media is THAT bad or (b) something else is wrong :)
