Please can someone help me with this extremely annoying problem I have. There is a problem with sounds played by my PC. ALL of them, from DVDs to MP3s even the windows sounds; ALL of them playback very slowly. No matter what I try, I can never get the sound to speed up to real time. The sound does not stutter, it is just very slow. I reinstalled the sound card drivers, the codecs and tried many players. Nothing worked. Thank you
Did you check your CPU usage lately? IT could be that some other process on your system ate all your CPU resources.
