small problem, lots of time wasted

    Hiya,
    I am trying to burn a DVD, however the original MPEG2 file is much longer than the time displayed (7min vs 33min). When I burn it through Nero or any other software it is burning only the 7 min.
    Tried to convert it through DivxtoDVD but I am having the same problems when burning the DVD.
    searched the web, the few threads I read about such a problem say it is a codec problem. But I have all the codec and the movie is playing on all media player.
    Any help is much appreciated (and needed)

    Which file type do you have? What GSpot tells about it?
