i want to be able to strip off just the audio stream from a "home made" dvd and save it as an mp3. i downloaded both smart ripper and dvd decrypter and have not been able to figure out how to do this.

hmm i'm not really big into this but what you could do is try ripping with smart ripper to just 1 vob file and then use TMPGEnc to extract the ac3 stream! (in tmpgenmc, click file - mpeg tools - demultiplex)

it would be nice if people actually bought the software then came to a software discussion form because most of the answers may be found in the manual or with the customer support

this would save a lot of time and be the more morale thing to do

Yeah. Apparently the p2p people are hitting back by saying that a lot of people use p2p services to find and download a program and then buy it from the program they download. I know is sometimes do that.

Im just rambling on now...whats this thread about....lol

No not really, ust that ppl dont use it only for copyrighted material, to say that is stupid! i use to sample music and it led me to buy more cd's even though they are terribly priced!
