    hello,
i let smartripper rip a dvd to the hard disk,in order to make an xvid out of it
but now i have a dvd-recorder and would like to make a dvd from these files again.
can i just burn them with nero?(choosing option video-dvd)
    my idea is that
dvd-shrink works similar to smartripper expect the compressing stuff, cause it gives me also a bunch of files....

    Hi Feli,
If you compress them with Shrink to fit the blank disc (about 4.36 gig) then Nero should have no problems burning them. I use the same option. Make sure you use compatable media with your burner if it's not dual format.
    Good luck,
    Frank
