Ok, so I followed everything exactly in scuba petes guide to using dvd shrink and dvd decrypter and at the finish dvd decrypter told me that my dvd was successfully complete, great!! I then ejected the disc, walked to my stand alone player and put it on, not great!! "This disc cannot be read"..... Please help me, I have not got a clue what I did wrong or why it wont play it. Well before I went further I went and put it in my xbox and it plays fine, so lost =( Please help.
If your Xbox played the disc fine my guess would be that your standalone player isn't compatible with burned media. Here's a link where you can look up your player's compatibility: http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers Depending on what media you're using now switching to a higher quality media may help _X_X_X_X_X_[small] JMLS-166S/Plextor PX-708A/Plextor Premium My Movies! http://www.intervocative.com/dvdcollection.aspx/Rephaim[/small]
Well I checked the player compatibility and it says that it plays my media fine, im using memorex 4x DVD-R, should I change the brand? Or could if be something else?
memorex work ok in my player but overall i would suggest Ritek A Grade DVD-R media! They seem to be very compatible when compared with other brands!
