I have an Xbox that was softmoded 2 yrs ago for my nephew. For some reason that I don't know something was pushed. All the xbox will do now when you turn it on is try to connected live. It doesn't even go to the dashboard. No matter what I do that is the only screen I get. Has anyone had this problem?
Yes we have been here hundreds of times before.. as a quick use of search would have shown. First thing to try is to boot a late issue live enabled game and attempt to get to the live settings. You MUST cold boot.. with the game in the drive before power on. Otherwise if the saves are still intact you can load the softmod exploit game again exactly the same way as you did the first time... Failing that you need to hotswap and restore your drive to factory and re mod.. (the contents of the E:/backups folder contains a complete set of your original C: drive.
