Softmod hard drive trouble

I softmodded my sons xbox for him so he could play burned games well he was playing around in the unlesh dash and unlocked the hard drive now the box wont start up is there any way to relock the hard drive with my pc

 

Yes you can but you going to need your eeprom or your hdd key.

 

how do i get the key or the eeprom

 

If you didnt bother backing it up before your xbox is now useless.

 

I backed it up but onto my E partition. Is there a way to get to it if i take out the hard drive and put it on my pc?

 

well, if u do decide to hook or xbox hd to yor computer be cautios my friend trid that to put some files on his hd and messed up his computer. you can probly fix this problem that way or even get a mod chip and install it such as an aladdin chip or excuter . addlin chips r cheaper but work just as good. also get a 2.6 programmer to reflash yor chip just in cace you mess up the flash . checkout bm mods website. shouldnt cost u more than 30 dollars alltogether.
