When trying to run program I get an error Mmounting/dev ect failed no such device. If you could please shed some light on this issue. Thanks Again, SliceN
How old is your computer? Because I believe I had this same problem. I was told that XBHDM needs a certain amount of RAM to run it and plus I don't know if it works because my old computer couldn't burn CD's so that might also be a reason. I don't know, but I hope this helps a little.
are u trying to lock the hard drive if so use this http://www.xbox-scene.com/tools/tools.php?page=harddrive#newsitemEpFVEFZllEVMUtVboU
Hey! I had this problem while putting a 300 Gig drive in a XboX last night. The problem is simple as long as you know how to change your bios. When your PC boots up you have to enter the BIOS, sometimes you have to press F2, F12 or sometimes Delete. Once your in the BIOS make sure you have the Hard drive in the Primary Master! If the Hard Drive in in anything else but that, then unplug your PC and change the cable or Jumpers around. I have found that sometimes it doesnt like Cable Select. If that doesnt fix it then Change the BIOS on the Primary Master (Assuming that you have made sure that the Hard Drive is in the Master Position) and Change it from Auto Detect to USER Preference. After changing those 2 things last night I tried one last time and it built my new drive with no problems! Enjoy! Philip
