Softmod Problem ERROR 5

    I made a mistake and flashed my bios in my sotdmodded XBOX and it did not take. Now I only get a blank screen and an error 5 when I try to boot in Microsoft Dash. I'm looking for any assistance on how to repair this.

    your hdd is not locked. try installing a modchip w/an OS to lock your hdd

    yep your screwd. you need to flash the xbox with a non retail bios. in order to to that you need a mod chip or maybe just a TSOP. your harddrive is unlocked and with the retail bios it must be locked. there is no other way to fix this except for what i said above.
