Softmod problem Please help!

    Ive got all the equip to mod my xbox (splinter cell, mem card, AR)
    Ive installed up to the point where you get into uleashx but now everytime i try to do anything it autoplays the game! Ive tried taking the game out but then it just resets. The xbox will still play genuine games but WILL NOT load the xbox menu or anything else.
    Anyone know wats happened??
