i have tried and tried and tried and tried to connect to any server possible in mirc but it just wont work for some unknown reason. i have high speed cable internet so thats not the prob. any suggestions?

 

make sure your windows firewall has mirc under exeptions and that any other personal firewalls do to.
You can try turning them off for the time being

I really haven't had any problems with mirc, but if i find something i'll let you know.

 

In that tutorial on my last post it says that if a server doesn't work try a different one until you find one that works.

By the way make sure your email is correct.

nm i got it to work but now i have another problem. it dosnt matter which installer i try by ftping to my HD, i keep getting error 13.

 

can anyone help me resolve this issue?

Install the latest MS dash and get it up and running. Once it's up and running, then try to soft mod using an installer of your choice.

 

the trouble is that i am fairly new to softmodding and i have no clue how to reinstall the MS dashboard. i tried by using halo 2 update but that didnt work.
