Hi, I just got a new 500gb hard drive for my softmodded Xbox and I followed all the instructions for Xboxhdm 1.9 and everything went well until I put it in my Xbox. The Xbox gives me error 6 which I checked and it means something like the Xbox can't unlock the hdd...I heard that's because the hdd was locked to work with a different motherboard (aka another Xbox)? how come? I have the original eeprom that I ftp from my Xbox to my PC and then put in the xboxhdm eeprom folder!

When I try to unlock the hdd with Xboxhdm to lock it again it does nothing. I type 'unlockhd -a' and it shows the normal stuff as usual when you lock it too, the hdd model, the hdd key and such things...at this point I thought it was already unlocked so I went and tried locking it again and it tells me it's already locked and that I should unlock it to lock it again! didn't I just do that? I tried it many times and it still tells me the same thing and the Xbox still gives me error 6! why is this? I didn't use somebody else's eeprom! can anybody help please? I've got the eeprom from E/backups/eeprom/backup/eeprom.bin. Now, I saw another eeprom somewhere in TDATA for some reason and checked it with notepad and it's completely different to the one I got from the backups folder (also checked it with notepad), would this one work? I still have some CD-Rs left.

I tried unlocking with the unlocking password (which is incredibly long) that I got from hdinfo.txt (or something like that) that was in the same folder the eeprom.bin and bios.bin etc were but still no luck. I also tried 'unlockhd -p XBOXSCENE' and also 'unlockhd -p TEAMASSEMBLY', tried those 2 on both all caps and all lower caps and still doesn't work. When I put XBOXSCENE it says it's wrong but when I put TEAMASSEMBLY it doesn't say anything and goes to the security features of the hdd and all that that appears after you locked it or unlocked it. I thought it was probably unlocked so I tried 'lockhd -a' again but it told me it was locked and needed to unlock it in order to be able to lock it again! that means that unlocking commands are not working! If it matters I have a 500gb Western Digital SE that I know was completely lockable besides that xboxhdm locked it without any problems at all.
