hi i recently softmodded my xbox and just want to know what features i cannot use when compared to a hardware modification. is there anything that i cannot do that i can do with a hardware mod. thanx 4 ur help
you cant change your bios, boot with a blank hdd, have no dvd drive plugged in, allow any size drive to be used, dont need to lock drives direct boot so it boots faster, and alot more. but i have a modchip only because i messed up my orignal stuff so it wouldnt boot. but i would say most people would just need a softmod only people that want really big hdds or are developers for the xbox really need one.
