Can anyone point out video software that supports HyperThreading? I'm aware of a few but it would be nice if more of my tools supported it. I love DivxToDVD but (unless there is a setting change) it does not support HyperThreading and goes slower than it would if it supported it =/

    Thanks

Not really upto VirtualDub, more upto the individual codecs that you use when encoding. For instance in x264 you would set it to 2 threads (single core with HT) or 4 threads (dual core with HT). Which brings up the next point. The software needn't specifically support HT, it just needs to support multithreading. Also depending on how you encode even if none of the software is SMP ready, you still have seperate decoding and encoding processes eg. AVISynth decodes and VirtualDub encodes.
