hey, when i open a program on my school network (from a usb) it won't open. no new window appears it just will not open. The computer is reading the usb because i can open word documents off it perfectly but some programs like my picture editing stuff won't open! I have also tried copying the files to my account but it won't still open. I was wondering why this is and is there a way around it?

not all files were copied to the usb stick. when a program is install, it's files are spread all over the place as in program files folder, windows' sub folders & the registry. to get it to work you'll have to install those programs on the school computer which is unlikely if not have permission.
