Here is the situation. I have a PAL video camera, and an NTSC tv tuner card. Is there any software solution for recording PAL video from this camera to my NTSC tv tuner card?

Do you mean to keep it as PAL? With my ATI AIW tuner card I can capture any format and convert to any format. I've never tested it though because I don't have a PAL VCR but the options are definitely in the software.

well, i used to have a tv tuner card in my computer, then i took it out because the coax input fell off. i havent put it back in yet, but when i was looking at it, it said it was a leadtek winfast 2000xp deluxe, NTSC version. I was thinking that the tv tuner was made for NTSC standard, and no software could switch it. i guess i'll just have to put the tv tuner card back in and see if it gives me the option to record in PAL format.

The thing is that computers can view any format (PAL or NTSC). If you can't record in PAL from the card then it is disabled in the hardware of the card and not a computer issue.
