Software DV players cannot play mpeg2 when encoded by Tmpgenc

This is of course a newbie question which I tried to do a search for but could not find an answer to.

I used Tmpgenc Xpress to encode a xdiv avi file to mpeg1 first (NTSC 384x288) and I was able to play it in Bsplayer.

However, when I encoded it in mpeg2 I could not play it back in bsplayer or anything else. I tried it first encoding it at 384 x 288 and tried again at a different aspect ratio?

Any help would be appreciated?

 

I figured it out... I thought mpeg2 filters or codecs were already installed.
