Mobiledit seems to work good for me. Wife was messing around with it for a couple of hours last night and got her own wallpapers and ringtones (mp3) to it no problem.

It is a free program and can be found here:

    or download on this page.

It is really simple to use. Just hook your phone up with USB or however you are doing it and run the wizard and it should connect. If you cannot get it to connect you might want to install these drivers:

It took me forever to find these drivers and they work great with this program and even with Motorola Phone Tools 4.04b and Pkman, Midway, PST Programmer, etc.

Wife has the Pink L2 and I have the Silver L2 and we got both our phones hooked up easily with this.

    No problem. Anytime.

If you have not checked out Arcanix's tutorial for making MP3 ringtones you might want to check out his sticky:

    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/204360

Helped me out a lot and was able to make some cool ringtones from songs, etc.

Also found out if I go lower than 32kbps on the encoding though with Razorlame my phone says the tone is corrupt and won't play it.

Hope this helps you out too.

you have to uninstall the drivers from the phone that you installed from before in hardware manager
