i know it is possible to burn mp3's onto dvd-r's from reading a thread on this forum a little earlier, but i was wondering what software i should be using to do this... i have nero 5.5.10.15 and it doesnt support anything to do with dvd's. if anyone could answer my question or point me in the right direction, id be extremely grateful. thanks in advance.
I personally don't use Nero, but from what I understand you should be able to use it. If your version doesn't support DVD's, you may need to get an upgrade. As far as I know, you can get an upgrade right from their website. The one thing with burning MP3's to a DVD; we had this discussion earlier and it is a great way to store your MP3's, but stand alone DVD players won't play them. The ones that offer MP3 support play them off CD-R's only.
i have the most up-to-date version of nero and when i am given the choice of which type of disk id like to burn comes up only "cd" comes up and the "dvd" option is greyed out. i only want to burn my mp3's to disk because im about to reformat my harddrive and i dont want to loose my files.
OK, silly question time here. You do own a DVD burner, right? Not just a CD burner? If so, what model.
Are you able to burn dvd's period, not just mp3's? It really should not be that complex to do, but I don't use nero so I wouldn't be that much of a help
for archiving purposes, i would just make a data dvd in nero and copy them that way. i'll try that dvd in my sony dvd player.. nope, doesn't play.. i'll check around to see which program or way i can do this.. peace seamonkey420
