Assuming that the burner's firmware is up to date and you haven't changed media brands:

Select Nero Tools > Nero Info Tool > Configuration and verify that 'DMA' is 'On'.
Then select the tool, 'Nero CD-DVD Speed' and run 'Scan disc' on one of the burned DVD's.
If it picks up errors it might indicate that you are burning at too high a speed.
The burn log will tell you what speed you are burning at, but 4x is is a safe speed.

actually i did use another brand dvd disc at one point ,sony, then after that everytime i got either burned failed or i got burned successful but when i put it in the computer or play it in the dvd player it doesnt work even after reverting back to the staples dvd disc, the only reason i even used the sony dvd is cause its rw(rewritable), the staples arent, dvd-r.i even tried to erase a movie but i couldnt, got a message saying erase failed.when i have erased movies on a disc before without any problems, is it that bad to use multiple brand dvds to make movies, itl screw up your burner if i knew i woulda just sticked with the staples dvd disc .

i burned a movie successfully(using nti cd dvd maker) at a freinds house which actually worked on the dvd and computer that same dvd i was getting burn succfessful on my my computer but did not actually work on the dvd nor computer now i come to the conclusion its probally something with my dvd drive or software/drivers cause i just did a system restore and i im still having the same problems.

i hope one of you guys can help me out

Did you use Nero Tools to scan one of the disks that were burned on your computer to see if there were any media errors?

The Nero log file is in one of these locations.
    (nerohistory.log)
    Nero 7: "C:\Programs\Nero\Nero 7\Core"
    Nero 6: "C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero

Take the last burning session and copy/paste it to a new thread in the Nero Help Forum at Afterdawn.
People there can analyze the logs and advise.
Note remove the serial number which appears at the start of the log.
    An example log appears below.

That isn't what your log is saying.
This is an example of what it should say:

    The GSA-H22N is my burner.

Your log says Target: Hard disk folder.
