software to copy a cd/dvd into ISO image

    Hi,

    I would like to know:
    1. what software would you recommend to copy a DVD/CD into an ISO image (image.iso)?
    2. can that software edit the image contents?
    3. can that software convert image disc of other types to ISO image? (eg. from image.nrg to image.iso)
    4. compared to other formats, does ISO image have the smallest size?

    For Question 1: I would recomend Dvd Decrypter. But you should check out the specs on it check the DL section thats where the Free DL is at.

    Ok. For this I like to use Alcohol 120% for copying. If you want to edit an .iso or another image file. The best by far is Ultraiso. Try those you will like them. Keep in mind they are both shareware though.

    yep so when you use them try using them when you are not connected online.
