Software Types - Is it out there?A free equivilant to Norton Ghost?

I am after a freeware or shareware application that allows me to use the facility in Ghost where I can build my hard drive and tweak it then make an image and never have to spend hours rebuilding again! Hoorah.

If anybody can reccomend something it would be appriciated.

i have a even better app then norton ghost and all you need is a win xp cd and nlite a free cd building app

let me explain you just copy the windows xp cd to a folder and then run nlite select the folder that you copyed the windows cd into and then add all of your hacks tweaks reg entrys service packs all into the cd folder then tell nlite to creat a new iso burn the iso and you are done you just created new windows cd with all updates and tweaks cool huh

and even cooler the app is free and the app can also automaticly install virus scanner software and even mozilla firefox

 

ok cool, so to create it you just have to move all the folders that contain new apps you have downloaded and stuff like that? from the docs and settings etc?

What about e-mail account settings and things like that?

And when it comes to a rebuild, do you just put your new disk in and it installs from there?

Also, I am working from a Toshiba rebuild disk that has XP on it with all there stuff for my certian type of laptop will this have any effect?
