some backups won't load up

    I have an xecuter 2.0 modchip. I ftp the xbox to the computer and put all of the contents of the real game onto my hardrive using flashfxp.
    I then make it into an iso with XisoManager V1.3.1.
    Then burn it to a sony dvd+r with record now max. it worked for need for speed hot pursuit 2. Then i tried it with tony hawk 3 and max payne and it didn't work. It either froze up or just didn't load Is it the way i'm burning it or is it the type of dvd's im using. I'm out of ideas. Please help. THanks

    You probably should've looked in the archives for this, but you need to be running the newest bios (4977) and px HDDloader (v1.2). Once you have done that, the games should extract just fine onto your xbox hd and you can ftp them out just fine :)

    The bios shouldn't be the problem, since Max Payne doesn't have the newer security checks. I would probably change the program you use to make the .iso's. Go with Craxtion in combination with GDFImage, it hasn't failed me yet...

    It's always good to try and turn the three IN GAME RESETS settings to off, that's always worked for me.
