No You Cant do it In Vitrual-Dub..Virtual-Dub is only an AVI editor, It can Load Mpeg1 files But it can only output it to AVI...If you want to edit the Mpeg1 file then use "Tmpgenc" it has a Built in Mpeg editor... Just run Tmpgenc and go to "file" to "Mpeg tools" to "Merge & cut" and here is were you can edit your Mpeg 1 or VCD files.....Cheers

Thank. It works great, but the MPEG2 feature works for 30 days. the site charges 50 dollars for the cheepest version, which is just a serial. Is there a free MPEG2 encoder out there?

There are No good Quality Free Mpeg2 encoders and Tmpgenc is the cheapest encoder for the Quality and the Functions it has..The Encoder I usually use Costs $2000 US ...There is a New Mpeg encoder Plugin for Virtual-Dub in Developement that Produces Pretty Good Quality but it is still in Beta stage and has a Lot of Kinks that need to be worked out, It is called "Ympeg" and you can find it if you do a Google search and Might be worth a try if you you can get it to work...Cheers
