My computer came with RecordNow! CD/DVD burner already on it. I have no problem burning CDs but the DVD's are the problem. When I tried, it didn't even recognize that there was a blank DVD in my writer. I downloaded DVD For Free along with many other things that I thought would help but none of them did. I bought 1 Click DVD Copy which didn't work for me. I also tried to use the guides posted on this site and none of which are helping me. Can anyone give me some advice on what to do. I am out of options and have already spent $50 on 1 Click DVD Copy. Thanks.

Download DVD Decrypter & DVD Shrink from software section ... then read guides on these free software ;-)

    lehtinen,

The freeware that has been mentioned is great but there's no reason to give up on XCopy.

Start by using the "Black List" to elimenate coflicting software programs -

    http://dvdxcopy.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/49908

When you're done with that, uninstall XCopy, reboot (it clears it out), install XCopy again, reboot (allows it to settle in) and then you may begin by -
starting to play the movie for about a minute before opening XCopy - then, once XCopy has started, turn off the movie :)

Let us know how you made out -

Ooooh yea, Welcome to the Club :)
