Someone knows how to make region free the Lite On Model LVW-1107HC1 ?

I bought one Lite On Model LVW-1107HC1 but it´s region 1 , now I need to make region free , someone know how ?

From what I have read, there is no firmware hacks for this recorder. But, we have a region free hack using just the remote.

1. Enter "Setup" menu on the screen.
2. Scroll down and highlight "Exit".
3. While "Exit" is highlighted enter 2,9,6, and 0 and press "Enter".
4. A hidden menu pops up and you can select your region.
