Okay, I really do not understand this. I have:

    Lite-On 8x Burner
    Atlon 1600+ Processor
    512MB RAM
    DVD X Copy Platinum 3.2.1

When I go to burn one of my DVD's, using either simple or advanced mode, everything states in works fine.

I burn these onto Ridata 4x DVD-R Discs. About every other one I burn, there is this same problem. The disc will skip in the first 5, 6, or 7 minutes of the movie. Now, it only skip for about 10 seconds of "movie time," but it is really annoying.

Does anyone know what the deal is here? I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Some more info could be helpful, where have you tried the DVD in question a)only your PC or b)have you tired them on your stand alone unit c)play station 4)etc.

This info could help rule out possibilities.

The DVD's freeze when playing on my PC and skip when playing on either my Playstation 2 or my 2 month old Toshiba DVD player. Like I said before, the weird part is that they skip for about 10 seconds of "movie time" when they start skipping. And, they start skipping in the 5,6, or 7th minute of the movie. This is what is so confusing. They are no marks on the DVD's before I use them on either the DVD-R or movie disc.
