something weird with nerovision express 2

    I've spent the last 2 days going thru approx. 700 threads and haven't seen this one (not saying it ain't there, but I haven't seen it). I use anydvd, then dvd shrink, then nero ultra 6 to backup my dvd's. Uses vob files and works great! I decided to use nerovision express 2 and add a simple menu ( just some chapters and maybe some deleted scenes or alternative endings). Here's the weird part, the dvd plays just fine with a straight burn, when I reauthor it with nve 2 the video is fine but I get the director's commentary instead of the movie dialog! What the hey? Am I doing something stupid or is this crazy? I've even tried checking the commentary off, looking for different files, but wouldn't the files be correct or I wouldn't get dialog to begin with on a straight burn. I've read in this forum that nve 2 is everything from a little wacky to just plain crap. If that's the case is there a different authoring software I should get? I've tried sonic and dvd x maker and they're both crap. I kinda liked how nve 2 worked, you know, easy. Can someone help? Thanks for any info at all. PS- it's not the movie, it does the same on all of them

    Hey guys, did I put this in the wrong forum? I thought this was a software discussion, maybe I should have put it in DVD-R forum. I saw other questions regarding nev 2 so I thought this was appropriate. Is anybody out there? This is driving me batty! PS- How about my old buddy jim_dandy?

    OK, no one will talk to me so I'm answering myself. I haven't solved the problem but found a way around it. You can take out the diretor commentary audio in DVD Shrink in the customize streams of the re-encode section. Then after it's done take it to nev 2 and run it. It works fine. Doesn't really solve why nev 2 does this to begin with. I'm sure it's me. It doesn't make the menus DVD lab makes but they're functional and easy and QUICK. I thought I would post this for anyone else having the same problem. PS- I'd still like to know why the glitch in nve 2 if anyone has an answer.
