HI everyone, I read the Tutorial here on how to convert AVI to DVD and it was qorking well untill I got to the encoding part. I chose all the options correctly and loaded the AVI file, it is only 1:40 mins long its not sepearated its an Xvid rip and when it comes to the part where I have to change the %ratio so its 97% I cant go any lower it stays at 127% over hte limit of a regular 4.7 gb DVD disc and it also shows that the AVI file is 302 mins and I could convert it but Im afraid its too big I dont know where else to get help but here =] so if you have any soulutions please let me know thank you.

I was messing around with the files and it looks like only the AVI files seem to be messed up, it goes from 90 mins to 295 mins when i get to step 4 in the AVI to DVD tutorial when encoding with TMPG, I have no other problems with other programs but I would much prefer using TMPG I hope this made my problem a little bit more clear

I've got the same problem. I actually found with one of my movies the file was blank for most of the time. I just used Media Player and found where it ended. There was probably another hour or two of black.
