im new to camcorder..i have a sony camcorder with small tape..i cant transfer the vid to the hard drive on my computer..now my computer is a bit old 2001...i did some upgrade on it i added a fire wire and i new hard drive and memory but no luck with transferring the videos to the hard drive ..i have window movie maker and i downloaded few shareware form this site none of them works??? any idea what the problem would be.. please help.
Your camera's Guide book should give you details on connecting it to your Computer. The camera should have come with the cables to do this. I din't know if Movie maker will let you load your video. but if it will, you will have a picture of a Camcorder. All you need to do is use the fireWire to connect your camera to the computer.
