I've burt lots of cds of all differnt makes and speeds. I bought some Sony 40X and every time I burn one I get an error when theres 5 seconds left sayin it couldn't finish the CD. They all work and play, but should I worry about them going to crap later? Any fixes you can think of, other than don't buy Sony CD's any more?

I burn with XP (just drag and drop). Never had any problem before.

The CD's are 736,819,200 bytes / 79min 57 sec recorded in the ISO 9660 Mode-1 format. It says extended capacity media, but I thought that was normal capacity? They also say "Supermas" what ever that means?_X_X_X_X_X_[small]Just because you can, doesn't mean you should[/small]

Sony CD's aren't really good, at least the ones that say Sony in the ATIP and are Made in Taiwan, those are made by a company called Lead Data, exclusively for Sony, and they are of the lowest quality.
