Sony DCR-HC19E camcorder

    I had recently bought Sony DCR-HC19E camcorder but unable to copy the video into my laptop, I am using Getway Laptop with XP loaded in it but when i connect it to mylap via USB, the camcorder itself is not detected in laptop, i tried to download the drivers also but to no avail. Can anyone please help me

    Don't use USB, but Firewire to connect to your laptop. If it has no Firewire connection, buy a PCMCIA Firewire card.

    i really dont know about firewire connection can u send me the details about the same and how to connect where we can getit.
