I am looking to buy a camcorder. I like the way the Sony DCR-HC46 and Panasonic PVGS180 feels in my hand. Does anyone have either of these cameras? What are your thoughts? I have read some reviews and am kind of leaning towards the Panasonic. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I have a Panasonic GS150 and Sony TRV 240.The Panasonic is easy to use, light, great video outdoors, but very poor indoors and low light.I took video of my Grandsons Karate in the gym and it came out red tinted.Took stills with the same camcorder and the pictures were so red they were useless. And forget about trying to video at night or low light. The Sony is about as good outdoors, I can`t tell the difference, But much better in low light and will record in zero Lux with Nightshot in infrared.I`m taking the Sony tomorrow to his tournament even though its heavy and clunky. My next camcorder will be another Sony.Try looking at their SR-40 Hard Drive camcorder.
