Whats the best way to put all of the mpg videos from the camcorder to the PC and also how can i put all of the files in a single file instead of having a bunch of mpg i d like to have only one mpg .
and of course all of this without loosing quality.

I tried Nero 8 and Sony Vegas 9 but the video does not looks right, i can see distortion in fast movements from video. i thought it was the integrated video card in my PC then i got a Nvidia Geforce 9500 but the videos looks the same.

The camcorder its a Sony DCR-SR45 with an internal 30gb hdd.
What i see in the videos i edit is stripes in fast movements.

Please someone. i did a long googling but seems to be a non common problem.

    Thanks a Lot.!

What kind of camcorder do you have? What does it record to? Hard drive, miniDV tapes, miniDVDs?

You simply copy the files, from your camcorder, to the PC, just like you would copy from one hard drive, to another.

Your camcorder will be recognized, as a drive, when you connect it to your computer, via the USB cable that came with the camcorder.
