Sony DRU500A..Record now max& Primo dont see it

    Just installed this drive put in ASPI drivers i've been reading about 4.60 then 4.7.1.2 with no luck..Clone cd sees the drive easy cd creator sees it but not CDRWIN, Primo DVD 2.0 or Record Now Max. Also installed the latest firmware DRU500a 1.0f...any help would be grteatly appreciated.....going to try to instal previous drivers..4.7 & 4.7.1 to see if any thing works

    i have the same problems..primo don't see the Sony drive...help would be appreciated.

    Download Record Now max update to 4.5 it sees the drive right away.....worked for me

    Anybody findout which media works best in this drive. And which burning software works best. I've been using nero, can make cd's but dvd's are flake. I've been using maxwell dvd-r.

    JizNice; I've got the same prob. on minus dvd's (nero) but pluses are ok.
