I have the above Sony writer. I burned a disk and then attempted to burn another data disk. It gave me an error saying that the a string was over 100 characters and it wouldn't be able to write the disk. Which is fine. So I change the name of the files so it would be under the limit allowed. Now when I try to burn anything, the drive appears to start the write process but then disappears. After it disappears, I can't open the drive until I reboot the machine? Any Idea guys? I have reinstalled RecordNOw 4.5 and the drive itself. Nothing appears to be working. PLEASE HELP!!!
THIS ASPI seems to talk more about CD-R. Is this also for DVD burning? I successfully burned a CD and afterwards successfully burned a DVD. I tried to burn another and then the same problem happened. THe window disappeared and back to same thing. Thanks, P
