hi, i have a sony dru 710a anf all of the sudden it doesn't want to play nothing. i upgraded the firmware unnistall it from device manager and nothing seems to work if someone knows something else that i could try please let me know. thanks
sounds like your drive might have gone bad...you still under warranty? i have the same drive as you, so far about 9 months and still going strong~ nothing has been changed internally im assuming right?
hi thanks for answering back. yes the drive is bad but thank god it was under warranty. took it back and got a new one hopefully this one won't die on me too
congrats at getting an even swap~ boy, don't you feel relieved? it's great when you still have warranty on something, it's horrible when you only 3 days PAST the warranty expire date (this was what happend to me) good luck w/ all your future endeavours~ have a good one~
