Does anyone know if Sony has put some kind of burn-proofing on their DVD-Rs? I bought a 100pk today to back up some rips, and Nero6 dont let me burn it...any thoughts?

It gives me an "Illegal Disc" error in the log and terminates the burn....was using HP, Compusa, and TDK's before with no problem....is it the Sony anti-piracy thing?......

Do you mean your rips are from sony pictures or the blank discs you bought are sony branded?Because they can only put copy protections on their movies(which can be overcome by some ripping programs)and not on their blanks medias. If it's with your blank sony medias you're getting problem to burn, try update your drive's firmware.
