I have a HP Pavilion a210n with a DVD-ROM and the Sony DVD-RW drive. Everythings been working ok, but now the Sony drive does not read any media that I put into it. (Everything works in the other drive.) I've checked the Device Manager, deleted and reinstalled the drive, checked for driver updates, nothing seems to help. I haven't added anything to the system lately and I remember burning just last week without an issue. Any ideas? Or has it just got 'old'?
I got the same problem. Will read actual DVDs bt as soon as a Verbatim or anything else goes in im SOL...
