My Sony dvplayer will not play all dvds that I burn with nero, I try patching with dvd decrypter. It seems to depend on something other than regional coding. Some play and some don't, player displays "cannot play disc due to regional limitations". Why is this? Dvd decrypter is set on my region yet it obviously is not doing it's job. Makes for three times as much work, having to dvdrw the movies, then try in player and then burn again or delete.
    Please help!!!! * *

    Thart's pretty strange indeed.

I know for a fact that Sony DVD players often have trouble playing back from burned media but that's nothing to do with region. Maybe u cud try some kind of multi-region hack? even though yes i know the disc burned should be multiregion but worth a try I guess!"

How does a "multi region" hack work? I have heard about programs that once inserted into dvdplayer on burnt disc, will fix (or screw up dvdplayer).

Basically a hack will allow you change your region settings on your DVD player, like for example, region 0, which is multi-region.

Sometimes it is possible that a hack only requires your DVD player remote control.

    Check http://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks or try google!
