Hi guys, well here is another new bee who can’t burn a DVD. I have used Nero 6 and NTI DVD Maker that I received with my Sony DW-U14A drive one at a time including removing the registry info before installing each. On trying to burn with the Nero 6 I get a message that says ( Program Memory Area Update Failure ( 037304)) With NIT I get a message that reads Data buffer underrun error. Thanks Joe
joeglo, Are we backing up a commerical DVD ?? If so, you have to rip it first. Use DVD Decryptor OR Just get DVDShrink 3.1 - it will do the whole thing - rip your DVD, compress it (automatically), and bonding with your Nero (it does that by itself) it will burn your DVD too - takes about 3 clicks - http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/dvd_shrink.cfm By the way, Welcome to the Neighborhood, Pete
