    Hey,
My W910i got kicked into a swimming pool while I was in Egypt last week.

I left the phone to dry out for a few days and now it turns on but the loudspeaker doesn't work so I cant play songs with it or have a ringtone but the vibrate works.

Also, when I phone people I can hear them but they cannot hear me, does anyone know if there is an easy fix for this?

If not then do you think my travel insurance will cover this? If yes, what should I tell them?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

the other persons not hearing you, that sounds like a microphone problem. over a period of time, the phone might get worse and problems start re-occuring. you cant put down a phone for even 2 weeks and it dries out by itself, the phone will need to be pulled down and the circuit board cleaned with an alcohol based electronic cleaning agent!

water damage! the worst kind of damage lol. (besides ripping it's guts out) :p

ask the travel insurance guys if your covered.

OR you can get sony ericsson to reapier but they charge. probably

or get a w910i service manual and do it yourself
