I bought a data cable for my Sony Ericsson phone from 1800eMart, and when it got here, I installed the driver, and it came with a piece of paper that said, "Sorry, the software does not come with this package. Instead, go here (to this big hairy link I had to type in, and the software didn't work anyway) when it said on the webpage I ordered it from that it came with software. Idiots. My advice: Stick with the name brand accessories for your phones, or you'll get royally screwed, like me. And I feel even worse because I payed for premium shipping because I needed it right away. Anybody else ever ended up with a piece of crap from another company?
i bought a nokia charger once from someone on ebay for like $2 that didn't work...since it was only $2 I didn't really care. by the way...if you want software that should work with your z500a (at least for ringtone/image/contact transfer) do a google search for "floats mobile agent" that's an opensource freeware that accomplishes those goals. I've personally used it over bluetooth with a t610, but i belive it works through cables for phones that don't have bluetooth. good luck! --Corey
